Job summary

Talent Recruit is representing a logistics and supply chain client seeking a Customer Account Manager in Malaysia. You will maintain strong customer relationships, translate needs into deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet requirements.

You will oversee administrative functions, prepare budgets, and coordinate pricing and scheduling with executives, ensuring accurate reporting and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration or related fields.
• Strong leadership, goal-orientation and ability to work both as a leader and team player.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all management levels.
• Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
• Lean and Kazen practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key contact person to maintain strong business relationships with existing customers.
• Interact with clients daily and translate needs into deliverables for the internal team.
• Work with cross-functional departments to fulfill customer requirements.
• Oversee administrative functions of the Client Management team.
• Prepare annual budget forecasts for management review.
• Coordinate with executives and stakeholders to align goals and drive improvements.
• Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints with timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare pricing for new products and quarterly requirements; ensure system pricing is up to date for Finance billing.
• Manage order taking and processing; advise customers on schedules and product availability.
• Ensure ECO implementation with affected teams and departments.
• Coordinate new customer project requirements with internal teams.
• Participate in internal process improvement projects.
• Prepare reports as requested by the Manager and/or customers.
• Participate in new project testing with the project team and IT.
• Determine pricing for quarterly RFQ submissions and new products.
• Identify and implement efficient formats for accurate reporting.

We are representing our client, a logistics and supply-chain company, in their search for a Customer Account Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as the key contact person to maintain strong business relationships and develop professional rapport with existing customers.
• Interact with clients on a daily basis and translate customer needs and requirements into clear deliverables for the internal team.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Oversee the administrative functions of the Client Management team.
• Prepare annual budget forecasts for management review.
• Communicate and coordinate with executives, department heads, and relevant stakeholders to align goals and drive improvements.
• Manage customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prepare pricing for new products and quarterly requirements, and ensure system pricing is accurate and up to date for Finance billing.
• Manage order taking and processing, and advise customers on delivery schedules and product availability.
• Work closely with the respective functional teams to ensure ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation is carried out accordingly.
• Coordinate new customer project requirements with relevant internal team members and departments.
• Participate in internal process improvement projects.
• Prepare reports as requested by the Manager and/or customers
• Participate in new project testing together with the project team and IT.
• Determine pricing for quarterly RFQ submissions and new products.
• Identify and implement efficient formats and methods for accurate and effective reporting.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any fields
• Min 5 years of working experience in Sales, Management, Customer service, Finance, Administration, manufacturing operations or related field
• Goal-oriented and organized leadership
• Comfortable in both a leadership and team player role.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Knowledge in SAP/Oracle will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of various computer programs – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, etc
• Lean and Kazen practitioner

• Working hours = Mon to Fri (8am to 5pm)
