About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Creative Strategy Lead to head our strategy department. This is a highly specialized, management-level role for an industry veteran who deeply understands the creator and influencer marketing ecosystem.

You will not only act as the chief architect for our most critical, high-value campaigns, but you will also lead, mentor, and scale a team of Creative Strategists. Your goal is to elevate the agency’s creative output, ensuring that every pitch and execution seamlessly bridges niche creator content with mass-market public appeal. You will partner closely with the commercial and production teams to drive revenue, shape our product offerings, and set the industry benchmark for creator-led social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of young creative strategists. Identify training needs, and foster a culture of high-impact, out-of-the-box thinking.
• Quality Control & Direction: Review, refine, and approve campaign strategies and pitch decks before they reach key clients, ensuring all ideas align with HEPMIL's standard of excellence.
• Process Optimization: Build and refine scalable workflows, frameworks, and industry best practices for the strategy team to operate efficiently across multiple platforms and client briefs.
• Architect Creative Solutions: Lead the conceptualization of top-tier, large-scale social media campaigns. Craft execution ideas that creatively integrate creator talent into relatable, viral narratives for the general public.
• Commercial Alignment: Partner with the Sales and Account Management leads to identify proactive pitch opportunities, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive agency revenue through innovative creator solutions.
• Masterful Copywriting & Storytelling: Set the gold standard for campaign narratives, copy, and presentation storytelling. Guide the team in crafting persuasive, sharp, and engaging pitch materials.
• Exclusive Creator Strategy: Direct the overarching content strategies for our roster of exclusive creators, ensuring long-term growth and commercial viability for both the creators and the agency.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Executive-Level Pitching: Act as the strategic face of HEPMIL Malaysia in high-stakes pitches. Present complex strategies to C-level executives, marketing directors, and key regional partners with authority and conviction.
• Industry Consultancy: Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to top-tier brands, educating them on creator market trends, TikTok/social algorithms, and shifting Gen Z consumer behaviors.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive Industry Experience: 5 to 8+ years of experience in a creative agency, digital marketing, or specialized influencer/creator agency, with a strong portfolio of successful, culture-shaping campaigns.
• Proven Leadership: A minimum of 2+ years of direct team management experience. You know how to nurture creative talent, delegate effectively, and manage department bandwidth.
• Deep Creator Market Expertise: You live and breathe the creator economy. You possess an authoritative understanding of platform algorithms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook), digital video ecosystems, and meme culture.
• Strategic & Mass-Market Vision: A demonstrated ability to take niche influencer styles and translate them into mass-market execution ideas that solve core business objectives for brands.
• Exceptional Copywriting & Presentation Skills: You are a master communicator. You can write compelling copy, structure brilliant pitch decks, and command a room when presenting.
• Cross-Functional Fluency: You understand the realities of content production and account servicing, making you an effective collaborator who pitches ideas that are both ambitious and executable. (Background in video directing/producing is a strong plus).
