EH Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage contract administration, cost estimation and tender activities for construction projects in Petaling Jaya. The role involves coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure financial and contractual compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying degree with 2–3 years of experience, is proficient in Microsoft Office, and fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Able to work independently with good teamwork attitude.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to research issues.

Responsabilités

• Oversee contract administration including preparation of contracts, estimates and tenders.
• Provide quantity surveying support including cost estimating, cost control and contract valuation.
• Monitor and report on project budgets, expenses and variations.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and payment certificates.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and clients to resolve contractual issues.
• Assist in finalizing accounts for project contracts.
• Prepare, review and administer construction contracts and subcontracts.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible in the overall contract administration, including preparation of contract, project estimate and tender, monitoring and control of construction cost, negotiation with contractors and other relevant duties.
• Providing quantity surveying support, including cost estimating, cost control, and contract valuation
• Monitoring and reporting on project budgets, expenses, and variations.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly progress claims and payment certificates
• Collaborating with project managers, site teams, and clients to resolve contractual issues.
• To assist in the finalization of accounts for project contract.
• Preparing, reviewing, and administering construction contracts and subcontracts
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Survey or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in construction industry
• Able to work independently and good teamwork attitude.
• Optimistic, friendly, helpful, and proactive and take initiative to research issues, analytical and problem solving.
• Required skill(s): Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
• Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Willing to travel and possess own transport.
