Job summary

May Keong Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Executive/Quantity Surveyor to manage project budgets, cost analysis, and contract processes. Responsibilities include pre- and post-contract work, measurement, and claims preparation. You will liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and site personnel to keep projects on track.

Strong English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are essential to interact with diverse stakeholders across sites and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying or contract executive, especially pre/post-contract.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.
• Proficient in MS Office, project documentation, and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia for diverse stakeholders.

Contract Executive in Construction (Quantity Surveyor)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Prepare and manage project budgets and cost analysis

Assist in the preparation of pre (tender) and post contract process as assigned

Familiar and able to carry out measurement and taking-off quantities

Liaise and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultant, Sub-Contractor and Site personnel

Prepare and submit monthly progress claim, sub-contractor claims, site valuation, variation and final account

Controlling material usage on-site with project budget

To assist other related task required

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or any related field

Must have at least 2 years experience in quantity surveying / contract executive ( especially in pre-contract and post-contract roles )

Willing to go project sites when necessary

Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, Project Documentation, AutoCAD

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficient in written and spoken in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with diverse clients, suppliers, or associates.
