The role involves coordinating with site teams to ensure timely project execution and compliance with contract requirements. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering or equivalent and can work independently with a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• At least a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Good attitude with responsibility and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Project cost estimation for materials required on a project.
• Hire or procure subcontractors within budget.
• Coordinate with site managers to maintain project timelines.
• Prepare tender and contract documents with quantities.
• Cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
• Assist in defining client requirements and feasibility studies.
• Undertake risk, value management and cost control.
• Develop responses to commercial risks.
• Prepare and analyze tender costings.
• Allocate work to subcontractors.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
• Value completed work and arrange payments.
• Maintain awareness of current building contracts and safety regulations.

Junior Contracts Executive (Quantity Surveyor)

Projecting cost estimates on various materials needed for a project.

Hiring or procuring subcontractors based on the presented budget to the client.

Liaising with site managers, site engineers, and other necessary people to ensure the project follows to the timeline.

Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.

Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.

Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.

Perform risk, value management, and cost control.

Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.

Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.

Allocate work to subcontractors.

Provide advice on contractual claims.

Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.

Value completed work and arranged payments.

Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

At least Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Equivalent
