Job summary

Victory Builders in Malaysia is seeking an Executive Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, contract administration, and tender budgeting. You will prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts, while liaising with clients and consultants to keep projects on track.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, have 1–3 years of related experience, and be proficient in Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of construction contracts.

Responsibilities

• Execute cost and contract matters for pre- and post-contract.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.

• Quantity take-off for material orders and submission of claims and final accounts.

• Coordinate with client, consultant and subcontractors to ensure project moves on schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Execute cost and contract related matter for pre-contract and post contract

• Call for quotations, review, evaluate and negotiate for awarding of sub-contracts
• Quantity taking-off for material order, submission of claim, certification of supplier / sub-contractor’s claim and final account.
• Cost estimation for tender, quotation, and variation order.
• To assist to monitor the execution of cost plan and project budget.
• Liaison with Client and Consultant on all contractual matters, progress claim, site valuation, variation orders and final account.
• To liaise with the respective parties like client, consultant, and subcontractors as well as relevant departments to settle issue arising in execution of the contract to ensure project moving on schedule.
• To carry out any other ad-hoc task assigned by Contract Manager / Management

REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent
• Minimum 1-5 years of working experience in relevant position.
• Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is added advantage.
• Positive attitude with good inter-personal communication skills
• Hardworking, self-motivated, and able to work independently and accomplish task within deadlines
• Positive working attitude, discipline, aggressive and proactive.
• Knowledge of construction contracts
• Required Skill(s) : Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Auto-Cad
• Able to start Immediately will be prioritize.
