Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Contract Executive to manage project costs and keep construction on time and within budget.

You will prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities, coordinate with subcontractors, site managers and engineers, and monitor payments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in QS or related field, 3+ years' experience, and proficiency with QS tools and MS Office.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in quantity surveying tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Measurement & Taking Off - Calculating quantities and comparing measurements from drawings, BQ, specifications, etc.
• Estimate & Manage Costs – Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment; monitor expenses.
• Contract & Tender Preparation – Develop tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management – Hire, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors to ensure work aligns with budgets and schedules.
• Project Coordination – Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Progress Valuation & Payment – Track completed work, manage contractual claims, and arrange timely payments to contractors and suppliers.

• Project Coordination – Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Progress Valuation & Payment – Track completed work, manage contractual claims, and arrange timely payments to contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or a related field.
