Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction project management, architecture, or civil engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or landscape industry.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• CIDB certification or equivalent desirable.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, materials, labour and equipment.
• Lead the site team and ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment usage on site.
• Oversee daily construction activities on site, ensuring work meets specifications and safety protocols.
• Monitor progress against the schedule and enforce safety procedures on site.
• Regularly communicate project status updates to clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate subcontractors and workers and resolve site issues.
• Prepare progress reports for Management and Stakeholders.
• Develop and train a skilled hardscape team.
• Facilitate and coordinate workflow between staff of different departments or companies.

About the role

Green To Go Urbanscape Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in Subang Bestari, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception through to completion. As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our operations and directly impacts the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, materials, labour and equipment.
• To lead the site team member by ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment usage on site to ensure project in profitable.
• Oversee daily construction activities on site, ensuring work is performed according to specification and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule, implement and enforce safety procedures on the construction site.
• Regularly communicate project status updates to clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors and workers and resolving site issues.
• Prepares progress reports both orally and in writing on projects and updates to the Management and Project Stakeholders;
• To develop and build a skilled hardscape team by providing relevant training sessions to enhance the skills of team members.
• Facilitate, coordinate and negotiate workflow between staff of different departments or companies;

What we're looking for

• Complete a bachelor's degree in construction project management, architecture, or civil engineering
• Have experience for more than 5 years in construction or landscape industry.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional certifications such as CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) certification or equivalent are highly desirable
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
