Job summary

ASIAMALAYSIA INFRASTRUCTURE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead on-site project execution in Selangor. You will plan schedules, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with 8+ years in construction, CIDB Green Card, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Project. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry.
• CIDB Green Card required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Project.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills.
• Willing to base full-time at the project site in Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules, including milestones and resource allocation.
• Plan and oversee daily site activities to meet timelines and productivity targets.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Supervise construction teams to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
• Address on-site issues and unforeseen challenges promptly.
• Communicate progress and updates to clients and stakeholders through meetings.
• Review drawings, plans, and quantities for design accuracy and execution.
• Manage material planning, delivery, and cost control.
• Enforce safety protocols by supervising safety officers and inspections.
• Prepare site documentation including reports, drawings, and logs.
• Monitor usage of materials, manpower, and equipment to control costs.
• Ensure quality assurance across all project phases.
• Stay updated on construction trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist Head of Department in planning and strategic decisions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Head of Department.

Job description

Plan and oversee daily site activities to ensure alignment with project timelines and productivity targets.

Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, supervisors, and site personnel for effective project execution.

Supervise construction teams to ensure work is performed according to project specifications and standards.

Address and resolve on-site technical issues and unforeseen challenges promptly.

Communicate progress and updates to clients, consultants, and project stakeholders through regular meetings.

Review and verify drawings, plans, and quantities to ensure design accuracy and proper execution.

Manage material planning, plant delivery, and cost control to support budget adherence.

Enforce site safety protocols by supervising safety officers and conducting safety inspections.

Prepare and maintain site documentation, including reports, drawings, and logs.

Monitor usage of materials, manpower, and equipment to control project costs.

Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of project execution, adhering to industry standards.

Keep abreast of construction trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Assist the Head of Department in project planning and strategic decision-making.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).

Job Requirements

Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in construction industry.

Possession of a CIDB Green Card.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.

Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, and execution skills.

Willing to be based full-time at the project site in Selangor.
