Job summary

CCIE ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. seeks detail-oriented Commercial Engineers to join the project team. You will manage commercial aspects, control costs, measure quantities, handle contracts, and coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.

Experience in construction, engineering, data centers or MEP is advantageous. Mandarin and English communication is required; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus. Willingness to work on project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Relevant experience in commercial, quantity surveying, cost control or contract management within construction/engineering is an advantage.
• Candidates with data centre, MEP or large-scale construction project experience are preferred.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, costing and project commercial processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin and English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Willing to work at project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Project Commercial Management: manage and monitor the commercial aspects of assigned construction projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure commercial activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain commercial records and documentation.
• Quantity Measurement & Cost Control: measure quantities and verify against drawings; prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Identify potential cost risks and provide recommendations to management.
• Tender & Quotation: assist in preparing tender submissions, quotations and commercial proposals; review drawings, specifications, BOQ and other tender documents; conduct cost analysis.
• Contract Management: review and monitor project contracts and subcontract agreements; maintain records.

We are looking for detail-oriented and responsible Commercial Engineers to join our project team. The successful candidates will be responsible for project commercial management, cost control, quantity measurement, contract management, progress claims, variation orders, and coordination with clients, contractors, subcontractors and project teams. 我们正在寻找细心、负责任的商务工程师加入项目团队。主要负责工程项目的商务管理、成本控制、工程量计算、合同管理、进度款申报、工程变更， 以及与业主、承包商、分包商及项目团队进行协调。

Key Responsibilities 主要工作职责

1. Project Commercial Management 项目商务管理

Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of assigned construction projects. 负责及跟进所分配建筑项目的商务管理工作。

Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance. 监督项目成本、预算及财务表现

Ensure commercial activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and project requirements 确保商务工作符合公司流程及项目需求

Prepare and maintain commercial records and documentation 准备及维护项目商务相关文件及记录

2. Quantity Measurement & Cost Control 工程量计算及成本控制

Measure and verifty quantities based on drawings, specifications and site progress. 根据工程图纸，规格及现场进度进行工程量计算及核对。

Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates. 编制工程量清单及成本预算

Identify potential cost risks and provide recommendations to management 及时发现潜在成本风险，并向管理层提出建议

3. Tender & Quotation 投标及报价

Assist in preparing tender submissions, quotations and commercial proposals. 协助准备投标文件 报价及商务方案

Review drawings, specifications, BOQ and other tender quotations 审核工程图纸，规格，BOQ及其他投标文件

Conduct costs analysis and provide recommendations for competitive pricing 进行成本分析，并为合理及具有竞争力的报价提供建议

4. Contract Management 合同管理

Review and monitor project contracts subcontract agreements and commercial terms. 审核及更加项目合同，分包合同及商务条款

Maintain proper records of contracts and related documents 妥善管理合同及相关文件记录

Requirements 任职要求

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field. 持有工料测量（Quantity Surveying）、土木工程、机械工程、电气工程、建筑管理、商业管理或相关领域的 Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree。

Relevant experience in commercial, quantity surveying, cost control or contract management within the construction or engineering industry will be an advantage. 建筑或工程行业的商务、工料测量、成本控制或合同管理经验者优先。

Candidates with experience in data centre, MEP or large-scale construction projects are preferred. 具备数据中心、MEP 或大型建筑项目经验者优先。

Good understanding of construction drawings, BOQ, costing and project commercial processes. 熟悉建筑图纸、BOQ、工程成本及项目商务流程。

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. 熟悉 Microsoft Office，尤其是 Microsoft Excel。

Good analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills. 具备良好的分析、谈判及解决问题能力.

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. 做事细心、有责任心及良好的组织能力。
