Job summary

CelcomDigi is seeking a Debt Collection officer on a 6 months temporary contract in Malaysia. You will monitor receivables, contact clients for payment follow-ups, and negotiate plans to reduce overdue accounts within a collaborative finance environment.

You will also prepare aging reports, maintain records, and coordinate with sales and finance to align credit policies. The role emphasizes customer relations and process improvement to enhance collections performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Business Administration required.
• Minimum 2 years in related field - Finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and follow up with customers on overdue payments.
• Send reminders and contact clients via phone or email for payment follow-up.
• Negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary and work towards reducing overdue accounts.
• Work with the Recovery team on bad debts and account escalations as needed.
• Prepare regular reports on aging of receivables and collections performance.
