Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan TalentConsult Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Collection Officer / Executive (Contract convertible to permanent) to communicate with customers, manage outstanding accounts, and arrange payment solutions. Training and KPI incentives are provided, with a 6-month contract and potential for permanent placement.

Ideal candidates may come from collections, credit control, debt recovery, or customer service backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification with experience in collections, credit control, debt recovery, or customer service.
• Diploma and above in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting and related.
• Good communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding payments through calls, messages, and emails.
• Assist customers with payment arrangements and resolve payment-related enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activities.
• Monitor assigned accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally.
• Achieve assigned collection targets and prepare regular reports.
• Escalate complex cases when necessary and ensure compliance with company policies.
