Job summary

Mission Consultancy Services in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Debt Collection Executive to manage overdue accounts, contact clients, negotiate payment terms, and advise on repayment options. You will document communications, prepare statements for credit departments, and draft notices if terms are not met.

This full-time role requires at least two years in a related field, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizens only.
• Minimum 2 years experience in related role.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of critical thinking and sound judgment.
• Education: SPM, Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree.

Responsibilities

• Make Calls to Clients: contact clients to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans.
• Negotiate Payment Schedules: establish payment plans aligned with customers' finances.
• Advise Customers: inform about payment options and potential further actions.
• Maintain Customer Files: update and manage customer files with contact details and debt information.
• Prepare Statements: create statements for credit departments and banks when needed.
• Write Letters: draft notices to inform customers and credit agencies if required.
• Answer Phones: handle incoming inquiries and provide assistance.
