Job summary

YHI Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to maintain and optimise CNC machining operations, ensuring production performance and quality. You will programme, configure, and calibrate machines to meet production targets and standards.

In this role you will analyse processes, collaborate with R&D on new product validation, train operators, maintain records, monitor quality, and promote safety across the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as CNC Engineer or similar in manufacturing.
• Proficient in CNC programming, operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job description

To support and optimise CNC machining operations, ensuring efficient production performance, high product quality, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform hands‑on maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime

Program, configure, and calibrate CNC machines to meet production requirements and quality standards

Analyse machining processes, production data, and machine performance to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement

Collaborate with R&D teams on new product development, testing, and process validation activities

Develop and conduct training programs to upskill operators and technicians on CNC operations

Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, and production reports

Monitor product quality across all production stages to ensure compliance with required specifications

Manage material consumption and manpower utilisation to support cost-effective manufacturing operations

Promote workplace safety and health awareness through regular briefings and adherence to company safety policies

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a CNC Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

Proficient in CNC machine programming, operation and troubleshooting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
