Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks an experienced senior manager to lead a cluster of branches, drive growth in lending and customer acquisition, and ensure high standards of service and financial performance.

You will mentor a team of 10–15 staff, develop strategic plans with senior management, and collaborate across departments to optimize operations, governance, and cost management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Banking/Investment/Finance or related field.
• At least 10–15 years of experience in FI with strong Retail Banking, Wealth, SME and Asset Management product knowledge.
• At least 6–8 years of people management experience and a proven sales leadership track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop branches within the cluster, aligning lending direction and driving growth.
• Monitor branch performance with metrics and benchmarks to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Drive acquisition across Auto Loans, Mortgage, Cards, Unsecured Loans, Investment, SME & Insurance; foster cross‑functional collaboration.
• Provide leadership to branches, cultivate teamwork, and ensure effective communication across units.
• Contribute to strategic planning and decision‑making with insights on market dynamics and risks.
