Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Branch Manager to lead a busy branch, guiding strategy and securing growth. You will network with customers and partners to source new opportunities, set team direction, and drive performance across sales and service metrics.

You will coach staff, foster teamwork, and ensure compliance, customer satisfaction and strong branch governance while delivering excellent service and maintaining branch reputation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related working experience, ideally in a Branch Customer Service, Mortgage Direct Sales or Wealth Management Relationship role.
• Strong people management and leadership skills; with ability to guide and train a team of staff to achieve sales target and service standards.
• Good interpersonal and communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Welcome new challenges and possess a ‘Think-Act-Own’ attitude to see through planned and unplanned deliverables to completion

Responsibilities

• Drive Impact and Influence through Networking and Strategic Planning.
• Maintain and build relationships with existing and new to Bank customers, prospects and business partners.
• Create new business opportunities and implement tactical sales and marketing strategies; set team direction and goals for growth.
• Lead and develop staff through coaching and guidance to improve competencies.
• Foster strong teamwork amongst branch personnel and manage sales performance to meet branch KRA.
• Monitor banking operations with CSOM to ensure customer satisfaction, compliance with guidelines & policies, complaint handling and credit risk management.
• Ensure branch audit success and maintain branch security.
