Samyou Environmental Technology Sdn. Bhd. is building its maintenance team in Malaysia to support HVAC manufacturing and related products. The role focuses on supervising, troubleshooting, upkeep and repair of production machines to ensure quality, safety and efficiency in the facility.

You will lead daily maintenance tasks, manage breakdowns, install new equipment, and develop SOPs while coordinating with HR and production to meet targets in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience with hands-on electrical/mechanical exposure.
• Experience in manufacturing/HVAC/appliance factories preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical drives, safety standards.
• Chargeman or equivalent competency certificate.
• Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• Extended hours may be required to support production demand.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to respond quickly during breakdowns and emergencies.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Daily maintenance, upkeep and repair of all production machines, equipment and tools.
• Maintain factory fire protection facilities.
• Ensure utility supplies (water, electricity, gas) are serviced.
• Update and keep equipment records.
• Manage unplanned breakdowns and downtime data.
• Install, commission and supervise new equipment.
• Compile monthly statistics.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Request spare parts and manage stores.
• Handle plumbing and electrical works.
• Prepare SOPs for maintenance and conduct training.
• Prepare maintenance checklists and filing.
• Monitor attendance and overtime of juniors.
• Report attendance irregularities to HR.
• Handle disciplinary matters per policy with HR coordination.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping at own workstation.
• Ensure safety, health and environmental procedures are followed.
• Adhere to company policies and laws; perform other duties as assigned.

ROLE

Being the maintenance functional team working together to achieve business objectives. Accountable for supervising, troubleshoot, upkeep and repairmachines as well as devices to ensure smooth manufacturing ofair conditioning units and related products in accordance withquality, safety and efficiency standards.

RESPONSIBILITY

• 1. Responsible for the daily maintenance, upkeep and repair of all production machine, equipment and tools in the factory.
• 2. Handle daily maintenance, upkeep and repair of factory fire protection facilities.
• 3. Ensure daily maintenance, upkeep and repair of water, electricity as well as gas supplies to the factory.
• 4. Update and keep proper factory equipment records.
• 5. Organise and handle unplanned machine breakdown and sudden equipment failure. Record downtime rate and equipment failure rate.
• 6. Responsible for the installation, commissioning, acceptance and supervision of newly arrived equipment.
• 7. Compile monthly required statistics.
• 8. Formulate and implement preventive maintenance schedule. Carry out routine inspection and regular servicing accordingly.
• 9. Submit requisition of spare parts and manage the store.
• 10. Responsible for plumbing and electrical works.
• 11. Prepare SOP for maintenance department and conduct necessary training.
• 12. Prepare maintenance checklist and handle record filing.
• 13. Check accuracy of subordinates attendance and overtime.
• 14. To report abnormal or suspicious attendance to HR.
• 15. Handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy and Malaysian labour law, in coordination with HR.
• 16. Daily ensure 5S & carry out housekeeping for own work station in order to maintain cleanliness of work area.
• 17. Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental procedures, requirements & practices at all times.
• 18. To adhere & comply with Company policies, rules, regulations and government legislations.
• 19. Execute or carry out any other tasks or duties as assigned by superior/management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• 1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• 2. Minimum 3years experience in industrial maintenance, with hands-on electrical and mechanical exposure.
• 3. Prior experience in manufacturing or HVAC / appliance factories is preferred.
• 4. Strong knowledge ofIndustrial electrical systems (415V, motors, panels)and Mechanical systems (drives, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics), ISO9001, 5S, safety, .
• 5. Chargeman or equivalent competency certificate.
• 6. Strong leadership and supervision skills.
• 7. Extended hours may be required to support production demand.
• 8. Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• 9. Able to respond quickly during breakdowns and emergencies.
• 10. Able to work under pressure, adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• 11. Proficiency& experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• 12. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
