Job summary

Dunham-Bush in Kajang requires an Electrical Power/Engineering professional to lead electrical design and document preparation for new products. You will support wiring diagrams, unit data, and BOMs, review orders for quality, and prepare project documents for customized solutions.

Senior engineers may guide juniors and you will perform hands-on testing and provide cross‑functional technical support. Applicants must work in Bukit Angkat, Kajang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power / Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• 3 or 5 years relevant working experiences.
• PLC / DDC Programming skill will be an added advantage.
• Sound electrical knowledge and engineering practice.
• Good written and verbal English communication; Mandarin an advantage.
• Proactive, innovative, team-player and analytical-minded.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power and control circuits and prepare design documents.
• Support application engineering on electrical feeds, wiring diagrams and part lists.
• Review factory orders for standards, customer needs and sound engineering.
• Prepare documents for special projects (drawings, BOM, specs).
• Mentor junior engineers; hands-on unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Warranty, Quality, Production and customers.
• Assist Purchasing in sourcing components and evaluating vendors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or per quality documents.

Job description

To be primarily responsible on electrical power and control circuit design

Responsible for the preparation of design documents (electrical data, drawing, operation manual, etc.) for new product development projects.

To support application engineering on electrical related feeds such as wiring diagram preparation, unit electrical data, spart parts list and material cost adds.

Responsible to review factory order in complying with applicable standards, customer requirements and sound engineering principles

Responsible for the preparation of document required for the special projects including: drawings, purchased part specifications, procedures, bills of material, and other documents required for the manufacture of the products. Special projects refer to highly customized products, products with design for specific applications, etc.

For senior engineer position, to work with / guide junior engineer to complete the job.

Hands-on on unit testing and troubleshooting.

Responsible for providing technical support to Sales/Marketing, Warranty Service, Quality Control & Production Departments, Associate Companies and Customer as needed.

Assist Purchasing Department in sourcing components & raw materials, providing specifications and evaluating quality of vendors.

Any other duties assigned by the Electrical and control Assistant Manager or as detailed in the Quality Documents.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
