GIFTMARKET SDN BHD is seeking a Business Development Manager (Channel Sales) to lead the expansion of our stockist and agent network in Malaysia. You will identify, approach, and onboard new partners while nurturing ongoing relationships to drive sustainable growth.

The role also supports corporate gifting when capacity allows. Key responsibilities include recruiting stockists, presenting products, negotiating terms, and coordinating with logistics to ensure smooth activation and first orders.

Qualifications

• Existing contacts, networks, and working relationships in corporate gifting, channel sales, or stockist/agent distribution space.
• Ability to leverage network to expand stockist presence in Malaysia.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, results-driven professional in a growth environment.
• Formal qualifications are not essential; relevant experience and proven connections matter more.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and recruit new stockists and agents across Malaysia.
• Present products, pricing, and partnership benefits to potential partners.
• Negotiate and onboard stockists with smooth activation and first orders.
• Manage relationships with stockists/agents and address enquiries to drive performance.
• Monitor stockist sales and provide feedback for improvement.
• Gather market insights to support channel strategy.
• Coordinate with operations for order fulfilment and logistics.
• Represent the company professionally and uphold brand reputation.
• Provide backup support to Corporate Sales on gifting inquiries when needed.
