Finmo is building a Treasury OS and is expanding into card issuing. We are seeking a Card Operations Lead to own the day-to-day management of our card program, designing and implementing processes, controls, and vendor management from scratch.

You will report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and collaborate with Product, Finance and Compliance, as well as our scheme and processor partners. The role demands a hands-on leader with a strong risk mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in card operations or payments, with 2–3 years running part of a live card program.
• Experience setting up or significantly improving operational processes, ideally in a new/early-stage program.
• Hands-on experience with settlement, reconciliation, and chargeback/dispute processes under Visa and/or Mastercard rules.
• Strong analytical skills: comfortable with large transaction datasets and KPI dashboards.
• Clear written and verbal communication with partners and senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Build and own card operations from scratch for a new program.
• Set up reporting, escalation paths, and vendor management routines needed to scale.
• Monitor settlement amounts and fund settlement accounts daily; reconcile with records; resolve breaks.
• Track KPIs: authorization rates, fraud losses, dispute rates, and total vendor costs.
• Investigate disputes and chargebacks; manage fraud cases and customer queries with high service standards.
• Prepare quarterly reports to Visa and keep operations aligned with scheme rules.
• Manage card production, shipping, activation, and replacements; enforce SLAs with vendors.
