Job summary

Concentrix in Malaysia is seeking an Advisor I, Customer Service – Cantonese for entry-level support. You will handle customer inquiries, clarify needs, and resolve issues while maintaining courteous service and KPI adherence.

The role requires strong communication, patience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts. Prior contact center exposure is a plus, with Cantonese fluency essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3–6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Courteous with strong customer service orientation.
• Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player who can work independently.
• Patient and professional in all customer interactions.
• Able to rotate shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service delivered to our customers meets contractual KPIs.
• Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding, use decision-support tools and resources to provide resolution.
• Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while building rapport.
• Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed procedures.
• Maintain basic knowledge of client products and/or services.
• Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriately noting accounts as required.
• Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Offer additional products and/or services.
• Track, document and retrieve information in call tracking database.
• Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources or more senior staff.
