Business Development (Senior/ Junior Executive)

About the role We are seeking a driven and talented Business Development Executive to join our team at ZW Packaging Sdn Bhd in Perai, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and driving growth for our dynamic packaging solutions company.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging your industry connections

Conducting market research to understand customer needs and develop tailored sales proposals

Arranging and leading meetings with potential clients to pitch our products and services

Negotiating contract terms and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets

Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline progress

Collaborating cross-functionally with our marketing, operations, and customer service teams

Contributing to the development of our sales and growth strategies

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers

Proven track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets

Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative sales approach

Proficient in market research, data analysis, and using CRM software

Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies

Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
