Job summary

DTL Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily retail store operations in Sarawak, with a focus on maintaining smooth opening/launch activities and promoting excellent customer service across outlets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail, ideally in mobile/consumer electronics, and can communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin. The role requires six days per week based on outlet schedules and offers bonus, benefits, and a dynamic working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with 2 years retail experience, preferably in mobile/consumer electronics.
• Experience as store manager encouraged.
• Good communication in English, Malay and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of retail stores.
• Conduct store assessments and meetings with promoters; implement action plans.
• Maintain healthy communication with Brand Store Executive.
• Ensure store activities opening/launches follow timelines.
• Propose store enhancement initiatives to improve customer experience.
• Coach and provide customer service training for promoters on the ground.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues raised by Brand Store Executive and HQ.
• Ensure planograms and store correspondences are followed.
• Capture best practices across stores and share learnings.
• Prepare proposals and reports for meetings.
• Monitor and support in areas contributing to sales performance.
