Job summary

Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd. seeks an Executive to assist the Branch OIC in Sandakan with daily branch operations, ensuring smooth processes and strong service levels.

The role includes handling policy inquiries, data entry, claims checks, and collaboration with agents, while maintaining records and supporting multiple departments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma or higher in any field.
• 1 year of working experience in branch operations preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch OIC with daily branch operation tasks.
• Maintain branch operations and daily procedures for each department.
• Design and implement systems to improve office operations.
• Meet service goals and objectives and provide support to agents.
• Attend to walk-in/call-in customer and agent enquiries on policy matters.
• Data alteration and maintain transaction records up to confer authority.
• Follow up on outstanding requirements and ensure timely completion.
• Check completeness of claim forms/documents for all types of claims.

Job description

To assist Branch OIC performing required & assigned daily branch operation tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining branches operations and daily procedures for each department tasks as per below summary.

Designing & implementing systems to improve office operations.

To meet service goals and objectives.

Provides assistance and support to agents.

Summary:

Attend to walk-in/call in customer's & agent's enquiry on policy related matters.

Perform data alteration up to confer authority and maintain transaction records.

Follow up on outstanding requirement.

Claims:

Check completeness of claim forms/documents for all type of claims including updating client's details & bank account number, and to record, follow up monitor the outstanding claim status.

New Business:

Proposal submission screening and back up data entry capturing and policy contract distribution

Finance:

Receipting, ensure daily tally of premium collection, day-end collection recording and report printing.

General Admin:

Record keeping, report defect of office assets/equipment/furniture, update reports or daily/monthly templates.

Any other duties that the Company may assign from time to time

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field or Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply.

Preferably Executive specializing in Branch Operations or equivalent.
