Job summary

Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to work with stakeholders and IT teams to ensure the company’s processes deliver customer-friendly solutions aligned with strategy.

You will refine requirements, prioritize backlogs, support SIT/UAT, and coordinate post-production activities while applying strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced insurance environment in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Business Analyst work closely with stakeholders which ensure that the company’s processes are effective in delivering customer friendly business solutions to achieve the company’s strategy, commitments and goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

Act as a liaison between business stakeholder and development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Supporting the delivery teams by refining requirements, prioritizing backlogs, clarifying functionality and participating in System Integration Testing (SIT) activities.

Involve in entire system development and work closely with IT developer to define the requirements, business process and solution designs to meet the timeline and business objective.

Communicate project deliveries with key stakeholder on a regular basic.

Supporting the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including testing environment planning, coordination, defect management and sign off.

Coordinate post-production implementation activities including incident resolution/problem solving with root cause analysis, stakeholder engagement activities and mitigation plan.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably with experience as IT Business Analyst in the insurance industry and familiar with LifeAsia

Strong analytical, problem solving and business process analysis skills.

Ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective system solutions and enhancements.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional business units and IT teams under minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables.

Able to work in fast pace working environment and manage handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Good communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Knowledge of SDLC, system analysis, requirements documentation, and UAT coordination
