Job summary

AFFIN Group is seeking a Branch Leadership professional in Malaysia to drive high performance, uphold service excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance across branch operations. This role requires strategic leadership, operational discipline, and a passion for people development.

Responsibilities include leading sales across products, managing daily operations, and maintaining audit readiness while coaching staff and ensuring customer-focused service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail banking, with at least 2 years in a branch leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and regulatory/compliance frameworks (BNM, AML/CFT).
• Proven ability to drive sales performance, manage branch operations, and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer service orientation.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with sound decision-making and risk awareness.
• Candidates currently holding roles such as Sales Team Lead, Sales Manager, or Senior Relationship Manager are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch sales across key products: Deposits, Investments, Loans, Bancassurance, Credit Cards, and Business Referrals.
• Develop strategies and monitor performance to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Lead day-to-day branch operations in compliance with Bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure staff compliance with internal controls, SOPs, Branch Manual, and statutory obligations.
• Maintain strong audit outcomes by proactive issue resolution and timely reporting.
• Serve in oversight roles (BCM Coordinator, BUCO Representative, CLO, OSHA Coordinator).
• Foster a culture of compliance through coaching and risk awareness.
• Provide excellent customer service aligned with SLA standards and promptly address complaints.
