Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Malaysia to lead a branch team toward sales growth and outstanding customer service. You will network with customers, partners, and prospects while guiding strategic planning and team direction.

You will coach staff, drive performance, ensure compliance and quality customer experiences, and uphold the bank’s image across the community. A minimum of 5 years in related roles is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related working experience, ideally in Branch Customer Service, Mortgage Direct Sales or Wealth Management Relationship roles.
• Strong people management and leadership skills with ability to guide and train staff to achieve sales targets and service standards.
• Good interpersonal and communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and a Think-Act-Own mindset to deliver planned and unplanned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive networking to build relationships with existing and new Bank customers, prospects and partners.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to source new business opportunities and guide team direction and goals.
• Lead and coach staff to improve competencies and achieve branch KPIs and service standards.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, compliance with guidelines and branch security, and uphold brand image.
