Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns in Kuantan, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Banquet Manager or Banquet Assistant Manager to lead all banquet and event operations at the property. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating planning, setup, staffing, and service to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in banquet management or event coordination.
• Experience in hotels, resorts, or similar hospitality setups.
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple events.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Proficiency with banquet management software and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events from conception to completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand requirements and provide quotations.
• Oversee setup, decoration, and breakdown of banquet spaces.
• Manage staffing schedules and supervise service standards.
• Monitor F&B quality and service delivery with kitchen teams.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
• Handle budget management and cost control for banqueting services.
• Maintain event records for future reference and improvement.
• Collaborate with front office, housekeeping, and kitchen for seamless execution.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as needed.
• Develop banqueting packages and promotions.
