Job summary

Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns is seeking a Human Resources Manager at our Kuantan property to lead all HR functions on a full-time basis. You will develop HR strategies, manage talent acquisition, payroll, and employee relations while ensuring regulatory compliance and a positive workplace culture.

The role reports to senior management and drives organisational development initiatives to support our hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and workplace regulations.
• Experience in recruitment, selection, and talent acquisition best practices.
• Experience with payroll, benefits, and compensation planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with hotel objectives and Malaysian regulations.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding across all departments.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and grievances.
• Oversee payroll administration, benefits management, and compensation planning.
• Design and deliver training and development programmes for staff.
• Maintain confidential HR records and ensure data protection compliance.
• Conduct workforce planning and analysis to support business needs.
• Foster positive workplace culture with employee engagement activities and recognition initiatives.
• Advise management on employment matters and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and related regulations.
