Job summary

SoftwareOne in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Business Development Director – AWS to drive cloud growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities with new and existing customers. You will lead the sales cycle from first contact to contract closure while aligning AWS solutions with client business needs.

You will work closely with Field Sales, Account Management and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals, commercial discussions and contracts.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to identify, develop and close opportunities in cloud/digital transformation solutions.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud solutions and how to align them with customer needs.
• Experience managing consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new AWS business opportunities in Malaysia.
• Drive end-to-end sales cycles from initial engagement to contract closure.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and technical teams to craft solutions and proposals.
• Develop customer proposals, service contracts, and commercial models.
• Maintain knowledge of AWS portfolio and market insights to enhance sales effectiveness.
