SoftwareOne in Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Director – AWS to drive cloud adoption and accelerate AWS growth by identifying and closing new opportunities with new and existing customers.

You will collaborate with Field Sales, Account Management and our technical teams to translate customer challenges into AWS-based solutions, develop proposals, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from qualification to contract closure.

Qualifikationen

• Identify, develop and close business opportunities within cloud, technology or digital transformation solutions.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud solutions and connecting technology capabilities to business needs.
• Manage consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen including proposal development and contract discussions.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, Account Managers and technical teams.
• Curious, proactive and customer-focused mindset with clear ownership of outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Identify and develop new AWS business opportunities with new and existing customers in Malaysia.
• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from initial engagement to negotiation and contract closure.
• Partner with Account Managers to ensure AWS opportunities align with customer strategy and objectives.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects and Practice Leaders to develop solutions addressing customer needs.
• Develop customer proposals, service contracts and associated commercial and cost models.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the AWS portfolio and share insights to strengthen engagement.
