Job summary
SoftwareOne is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to join our Cloud Services team in Kuala Lumpur. You will design and implement secure, scalable AWS solutions, lead migration and modernization efforts, and guide delivery teams through complex cloud transformations.
You will partner with sales and customers to align technology with business goals, run workshops, and provide architectural leadership across projects. AWS certifications are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization.
- Strong understanding of AWS architecture, security, networking, and governance best practices.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation) and automation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and sales to define objectives and design tailored AWS solutions.
- Lead cloud transformation initiatives including migration, modernization, and optimization programs.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective AWS architectures following best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and technical discussions, respond to proposals, and support solution design engagements.
- Provide architectural guidance during project delivery to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Share cloud expertise with customers and internal teams and support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
