Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Commercial Banking professional to manage a portfolio of RM60 million and above, evaluate loan applications, and drive cross-selling of banking products.

You will build client relationships, deliver timely credit reviews, ensure KYC/CDD accuracy, and contribute to achieving key performance indicators in a sales-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised degree or Diploma / Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/colleges.
• At least 6 years of sales/credit experience.
• Strong business acumen, proactive and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Commercial portfolio (from RM60million & above), evaluate loan applications, conduct credit reviews, and cross-sell banking products.
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Build rapport and develop networking to maintain account relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Establish a trusted advisor relationship as 'The Trusted Banker to call' and deliver KPIs with speed and quality.
• Ensure accuracy on customer due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
