Job summary

UOB United Overseas Bank Limited is seeking a results-driven banker to manage a commercial portfolio and drive loan origination and cross-selling across our suite of banking products.

You will evaluate credit proposals, perform due diligence, and build lasting client relationships while meeting speed and quality KPIs.

Responsible for overseeing a Commercial portfolio from RM60million and above, with a focus on delivering profitable growth and exceptional service to clients in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognised degree or Diploma / Bachelor's degree, in any field, from an accredited university/colleges.
• Has a strong interest in financial planning, investment, client management and keen to work in a sales driven environment.
• Preferably someone with at least 6 years of sales/credit experience.
• Strong business acumen, proactive and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Manage a Commercial portfolio (from RM60million & above) including evaluating loan applications and conducting credit reviews.
• Market and cross-sell a wide range of banking products and services.
• Monitor overall facility utilisation and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
• Build rapport and develop meaningful networking to maintain account relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Deliver both speed and quality for all KPIs; ensure accuracy on CDD and KYC.
