Sinergia Talents in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Business Development Executive (Automotive Catalyst) to drive new business and manage partner relationships, with travel across Malaysia and the region.

You will identify opportunities in base and precious metals trading and recycling, analyze profitability, attend industry events, and align KPIs with strategy. Proficiency in English and Mandarin, strong communication, and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in recycling or related industries.
• Willingness to travel across Malaysia and regional countries (Taiwan, Hong Kong).
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Systems.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tenacity to succeed and goal orientation.
• Purchasing experience in metals waste management recycling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and driving the Company's new business ventures in base and/or precious metals trade and recycling.
• Distinguish and recognize the different types of catalytic converters available in the business countries market.
• Analyze profitability for purchasing converters with cost efficiency in mind.
• Attend trade events and conferences to understand market trends and regulations.
• Ensure competitors analysis is conducted regularly to track developments.
• Recommend growth strategies and develop new client base across markets to improve volume and margin.
• Initiate business meetings with clients/vendors to build long-term relationships.
• Submit sales and activities reports fortnightly to the BD Manager.
• Ensure all activities comply with Marketing policy.
• Meet KPIs including revenue and profits within the timeframe.
• Manage vendors and clients in CRM with up-to-date records.
• Drive debt recoveries from clients who miss payment terms.
• Provide team with market and business development insights.
• Perform ad-hoc duties related to business activities.
