Job summary

PHN Industry Sdn Bhd, a DRB-HICOM Bhd subsidiary, seeks a seasoned Business Development professional to expand automotive and non-automotive manufacturing capabilities. You will spearhead new customer acquisition, RFQ processes and strategic partnerships, coordinating with engineering and operations to deliver competitive proposals.

Fluent Mandarin is mandatory for engaging Chinese OEMs and partners, with English and Bahasa Malaysia for local stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales and marketing.
Experience with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to grow PHN’s automotive and non-automotive businesses.
Identify, prospect and acquire new customers including automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and industrial customers.
Lead sales and marketing activities including RFQs, quotations and commercial negotiations.
Coordinate with internal teams to develop competitive solutions and proposals.
Monitor sales performance, revenue growth and profitability.
Develop strategic partnerships to support PHN’s long‑term growth.
Manage customer relationships and ensure project handover and after-sales support.
