Job summary

VMG Interior Fit Out Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support interior fit-out projects. This full-time role offers opportunities for career progression within a dynamic and growing company.

You will assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring all project aspects, liaise with clients and subcontractors, and help prepare documentation, schedules, and cost estimates while maintaining quality and timelines.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in a project management or assistant project management role, preferably within the construction or interior fit-out industry.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and the project team.
• Proficient in using project management software and MS Office applications.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Candidate fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking consultants & contractors.
