Job summary

LEGEND DECORATION (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD is seeking a Construction Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute interior fit-out projects in Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

You will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors while providing technical guidance and client liaison across project phases. The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree or diploma and has at least 3 years in interior fit-out or related industries.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior fit-out or related industries.
• Experience in interiors, Mechanical, and Electrical industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules in collaboration with project managers to meet budget and timeline objectives.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site, including sourcing, briefing, and overseeing execution to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site audits and measurements to monitor progress and maintain quality standards.
• Liaise proactively with clients and consultants to resolve project issues and align expectations.
• Supervise all on-site works, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Assist project managers in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quotations, and tender submissions during off-site periods.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings to guide project execution and technical decisions.
• Travel overseas for assignments lasting 3 to 6 months as required to support project delivery.
