Job summary

Transmedic Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end warehouse and logistics functions. You will lead and develop the operations team, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with sales on asset requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee overall operation, warehouse, logistics, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and in line with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead, supervise, coach and train the operation team.
• Manage inventory control including accuracy and maintaining healthy levels.
• Coordinate with sales for assets and inventory requirements.
• Optimize use of resources such as manpower, consumables, equipment, facilities, and storage.
• Address problems and drive performance improvements in the operation team.
• Coordinate with the sales manager on inventory levels and costing.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met in the workplace.
• Foster a culture of professionalism among team members.
• Periodically review SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
• At least 3 years of working experience in similar capacity is required for this position.
