Job summary

RA Robotics & Automation Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak, seeks an Assistant Marketing Engineer to join our sales team. This full-time role bridges technical capabilities with client needs, supporting documentation, demonstrations, and proposals to grow our automation solutions.

You will translate requirements, build client relationships, and collaborate across engineering and sales while delivering cost analyses and quotations. English fluency is essential; Malay/Mandarin advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Strong robotics, automation, or manufacturing tech understanding.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and client satisfaction focus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients and events.
• Fluency in English; Malay and Mandarin Chinese is advantageous.
• Prior experience in sales, account management, or technical sales preferred.
• Knowledge of the local Malaysian market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients.
• Translate client requirements into practical solutions.
• Maintain client relationships with ongoing technical support and product information.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to ensure accurate delivery of solutions.
• Prepare quotations and cost analyses based on client specs.
• Gather market feedback and competitor information for sales strategy.
• Follow up with leads and clients to advance opportunities.
• Support after-sales process and address technical queries.
• Maintain records of client interactions and sales activity in CRM.
