Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks a Technical Marketing Manager & Inside Sales to lead an integrated function in a growing B2B industrial and engineering environment.

The role blends technical marketing, inside sales, customer support and commercial enablement to improve lead generation and quote quality. You will work with Regional Sales, Product Management and Engineering to ensure accurate technical and commercial support for customers, and to drive KPI-based performance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B technical marketing, inside sales, technical sales support or a combination of these functions.
• Experience in industrial automation, capital equipment, electronics manufacturing, engineering products or other technical B2B industries strongly preferred.
• Able to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer-facing content and commercial materials.
• Experience handling technical quotations, RFQs or customer enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, campaigns, branding and customer engagement activities
• Translate technical and product information into customer-facing content such as product pages, technical articles, case studies, application notes, brochures and sales materials
• Manage website content, SEO/SEM, email marketing, digital campaigns and lead-generation activities
• Plan and coordinate exhibitions, seminars, technical workshops and other customer engagement programmes
• Work closely with Product Management to ensure materials are technically accurate and aligned with current product specifications and applications
• Lead and develop the marketing/content team
• Lead and develop the Inside Sales team responsible for technical enquiries, quotations, RFQs and customer support
• Ensure customer enquiries, quotations and RFQ responses are handled quickly, accurately and professionally
• Set and monitor KPIs covering quotation turnaround, RFQ accuracy, follow-up and quote-to-order conversion
• Lead, coach and develop team members across Technical Marketing, Inside Sales and Customer Service

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager & Inside Sales to lead an integrated Technical Marketing and Inside Sales function within a growing B2B industrial and engineering environment. This role combines technical marketing, inside sales, customer support and commercial enablement, with the objective of improving lead generation, customer responsiveness, quotation quality and opportunity conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial equipment, automation or engineering products, together with the ability to translate technical information into effective marketing content and commercial responses. You will work closely with Regional Sales, Product Management, Engineering and senior management to ensure customers receive accurate, relevant and timely technical and commercial support.

Key responsibilities

Lead marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, campaigns, branding and customer engagement activities

Translate technical and product information into clear, customer-facing content such as product pages, technical articles, case studies, application notes, brochures and sales materials

Manage website content, SEO/SEM, email marketing, digital campaigns and lead-generation activities

Plan and coordinate exhibitions, seminars, technical workshops and other customer engagement programmes together with Sales and Product teams

Work closely with Product Management to ensure marketing materials are technically accurate and aligned with current product specifications and applications

Lead and develop the marketing/content team

Lead and develop the Inside Sales team responsible for technical enquiries, quotations, RFQs and customer support

Ensure customer enquiries, quotations and RFQ responses are handled quickly, accurately and professionally

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Business or a related discipline

Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B technical marketing, inside sales, technical sales support or a combination of these functions

Experience in industrial automation, capital equipment, electronics manufacturing, engineering products or other technical B2B industries is strongly preferred

Able to understand technical specifications, applications and customer requirements and translate them into effective customer-facing content and commercial materials

Experience handling technical quotations, RFQs or customer enquiries

Strong technical understanding and ability to learn complex products and applications quickly

Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear and technically credible customer-facing content

Comfortable using CRM, quotation systems and digital marketing tools such as SEO/SEM, email marketing, marketing automation and website CMS platforms

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Structured and process-oriented, with the ability to build workflows and improve team efficiency
