Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. in Malaysia seeks an Assistant Manager Human Resources to oversee payroll, staff claims, and expenses while driving recruitment to ensure candidates fit the role and culture.

You will coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, performance appraisals and terminations, and assist in manpower planning, compensation and benefits, and other HR matters. Strong communication across levels is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of HR administration experience in a large staff population.

Job Scopes

• a) Handle monthly payroll, staff claims and expenses
• b) Manage the recruitment process and ensure candidates fit the role and company culture.
• c) Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews, employee evaluations and terminations.
• d) Assist in administering a wide range of HR matters in areas such as manpower planning and recruitment, compensation & benefits and performance management exercise.
• e) Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
• f) Process and follow up appointments, reassignments, promotions and other HR decisions which generate personnel administration actions in a timely and thorough way, being sensitive to the human dimensions involved and tailoring actions accordingly.
• g) Advise staff on specific entitlements and explain employment standards and legislation where needed.

Qualifications

• a) Degree in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent.
• b) At least 5 years and above of related working experience in human resource administration supporting organisation with large staff population is essential.
