SUN POWER INDUSTRIES in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR and Administration professional to manage day-to-day HR operations, payroll, recruitment, and office administration, ensuring smooth support across the organization.
You will develop HR policies, oversee compliance with employment laws, supervise payroll and benefits enrolment, handle industrial relations issues, and help drive staff engagement and operational efficiency.
This role supports the effective management of HR and administrative matters, including employee relations, payroll administration, recruitment, performance management and office administration, while ensuring efficient support across the organization.
Role Responsibilities
1. Human Resource Management
Support Management and oversee the day-to-day Human Resources operations.
Manage the full recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, selection, onboarding and probation management.
Develop, implement and review HR policies, procedures and employee handbook.
Maintain accurate employee records, ensure strict compliance with employment laws and regulations, and oversee monthly payroll administration and employee benefits enrolment.
Review and improve HR processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Support manpower planning and employee retention initiatives to meet business needs.
Monitor employee benefits and insurance programs.
Coordinate the performance appraisal process, support department heads in tracking employee goals and assist in employee development initiatives.
Handle Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) matters, including disciplinary actions, investigations and Domestic Inquiries.
Prepare HR reports and management updates, including recruitment, turnover and absenteeism statistics.
Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
Organize employee engagement activities and support a positive workplace culture.
Supervise and guide team members, monitor their performance and ensure smooth daily operations.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
2. Administration & Office Management
Oversee daily office and administrative operations to ensure smooth operations across departments.
Review and improve administrative processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and ensure the timely renewal of service contracts, licenses and tenancy agreements.
Manage office equipment, software licenses and facilities to ensure optimal utilization and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and Administration.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws and regulatory compliance.
Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work and collaborate effectively across departments.
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
