Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee daily HR operations, support employee and industrial relations, and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
The role also involves designing and maintaining systems for job creation, evaluation and organizational structure reviews, as well as coordinating recruitment and performance management initiatives across the organization.
Responsible in overseeing day-to-day HR operations, supporting employee relations and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislations and company policies and providing HR support to Management and employees. Responsible in designing and maintaining the system and processes for the job creation, job evaluation, job analysis and functional structure review.
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices are properly implemented and consistently applied.
Monitor and ensure timely processing of employee movements, confirmations, promotions, transfers, resignations and terminations.
Assist in reviewing and improving HR processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate and support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews and employment offers.
Liaise with Heads of Department on manpower requirements and recruitment matters.
Assist in ensuring new employees complete the required on boarding and documentation.
Assist in manpower planning, salary review exercises, organizational restructuring and other HR initiatives.
Resolve employee disciplinary issues/grievances.
Provide information for management regarding labor issues, compliance of Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, Minimum of Retirement Act 2012, Minimum Wages Order 2012.
Manage disciplinary issues by conducting inquiry where an allegation of misconduct has been reported i.e preliminary investigation, interviewing witness/accused employee, collect information/data draft and issue show cause letters or punishment letters, case preparation for domestic inquiries and recommend appropriate disciplinary action to Management whenever required.
Design and maintain the methodology for the job creation and job evaluation.
Design and maintain the job matrix for all jobs in the organization
Evaluate the job description and put into the job matrix.
Co-operation with Head of Division on the grading of job positions and assigning on the correct optimum salary.
Coordinate and monitor the employee performance management process.
Monitor completion of performance evaluations and ensure relevant documentation is properly maintained.
Provide HR advice and support to Management and HODs on employee performance matters
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Administration or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience and experience in handling employees disciplinary and industrial relations is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR system.
Strong knowledge in Malaysia Employment Act 1955, local statutory compliances and proven capability in hands‑on industrial relations.
