K&T Precision Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR functions, align policies with Employment Act 1955 and related legislation, and support business goals across sites. You will oversee recruitment, payroll accuracy, budgeting, training programs, and workforce planning, with a focus on manufacturing environments and shift-based operations.
Strong stakeholder management, integrity, and confidentiality are essential.
Develop, review and implement HR policies, SOPs, and the employee handbook, aligned to business goals and the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and other applicable legislation
Advise management on HR-related matters (e.g. risks, compliance, trends and industry best practice)
Support organisational design and workforce planning in line with Business Plans
Own end-to-end recruitment across the organisation: manpower planning, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding
Build talent pipelines for critical manufacturing, technical, and support roles
Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and (where applicable) foreign worker agencies
Ensure payroll accuracy and statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, HRDF levy etc)
Develop and manage the HR/personnel budget; monitor headcount cost and manpower cost ratios; identify cost-saving opportunities
Conduct periodic salary benchmarking exercises to ensure compensation and benefits remain competitive and aligned to business performance outcomes
Design and manage training & development programmes, including HRDF-claimable training
About you
Bachelor's/Masters Degree and/or Professional Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
Proven track record leading an HR function end-to-end, ideally with multi-site or full-function ownership
Strong working knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and statutory contribution frameworks (EPF, SOCSO, EIS)
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, sound judgement, and discretion in handling confidential matters
Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment strongly preferred, including exposure to shift-based workforce management
Proficient in HR Management Systems/HRMS and payroll software (Familiarity with Odoo is a strong advantage)
Proficient in Microsoft Office365, Data Analytics, Visualisation for reporting and presentation
Strong command of English required. Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is is highly advantageous for statutory liaison and communicating with the production workforce
