Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking a proven Commercial Banking professional to acquire new account relationships and manage a portfolio of existing commercial borrowers in Malaysia. You will grow funded and non-funded income, write credit applications, and ensure timely reviews and renewals of facilities.

Collaboration with Trade Services, Global Markets, and D&L is essential for delivering comprehensive client solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in commercial loan/sales.
• Degree in Finance / Economics or equivalent.
• Credit writing skills (added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Acquire new account relationships and prospect for clients.
• Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking accounts to grow funded and non-funded income.
• Write credit applications and ensure timely reviews/renewals of facilities.
• Ensure asset quality and compliance with lending policies.
• Coordinate with product partners to meet clients’ banking needs.
• Monitor utilization and cross-sell opportunities within the portfolio.
