Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to acquire new clients and manage a portfolio of existing relationships. You will provide tailored financial solutions, write credit applications, and ensure asset quality while collaborating with product partners to meet client needs.

The role emphasizes maintaining compliance with lending policies, driving revenue growth, and strengthening client relationships across the commercial banking segment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance / Economics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial loan/sales.

Responsabilités

• Acquire new account relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking accounts to grow funded/non-funded income.
• Provide banking advice and customized financial solutions to optimize revenue.
• Write credit applications for new accounts and renewals.
• Ensure asset quality and stay updated on market intelligence for portfolio.
• Collaborate with Trade Services, Global Markets, and Deposit & Liability Management to meet client needs.
• Ensure facilities comply with lending policies.
• Address key risks before submission to Wholesale Credit.
• Preserve asset quality of the bank.
• Encourage utilisation of existing facilities to increase revenue.
• Closely follow through with clients to secure drawdown.
