Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Commercial Banking professional to expand our portfolio. You will acquire new account relationships and manage existing Commercial Banking relationships to drive funded and non-funded income, while delivering tailored financial solutions.

You will write credit applications, ensure timely reviews, monitor asset quality, and collaborate with product partners to meet client needs in a wholesale banking context.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in commercial loan/sales.
• Degree in Finance / Economics or equivalent.
• Credit writing skills (added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Acquire new account relationships and manage a portfolio of Commercial Banking Account relationships to grow funded and non-funded income.
• Prepare and submit credit applications for new acquisitions and ensure timely review and renewal of existing accounts.
• Maintain asset quality through market intelligence and proactive portfolio management.
• Collaborate with product partners to meet banking requirements of clients in a wholesales context.
• Ensure facilities offered comply with credit policies and are aligned with risk controls.
• Grow revenue by monitoring utilization and pursuing cross-selling opportunities; provide guidance to subordinates if applicable.
