Job summary

Midas Mart Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant IT Manager (Retail Operations & Infrastructure) to oversee and support the Group's IT operations across headquarters, warehouses and retail outlets. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of the company's IT infrastructure, networks, systems and retail technology solutions.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day IT operations, manage IT projects and provide technical leadership to support growth

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Administration, Systems Support or IT Operations.
• Experience leading or supervising an IT team will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily IT operations across all outlets, warehouses and office locations.
• Manage and support network infrastructure, servers, firewalls, CCTV systems and IT security.
• Ensure smooth operation of POS systems, inventory systems, ERP systems and business applications.
• Monitor system performance, cybersecurity risks and data backup processes.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements and new technology solutions.
• Manage IT vendors, service providers and hardware procurement activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the IT team.
• Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of critical IT issues affecting business operations.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures and best practices.
• Support digital transformation and business process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare IT reports, budgets and recommendations for Management.

Assistant IT Manager (Retail Operations & Infrastructure)

Midas Mart Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant IT Manager (Retail Operations & Infrastructure) to oversee and support the Group's IT operations across headquarters, warehouses and retail outlets.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and performance of the Company's IT infrastructure, networks, systems and retail technology solutions. The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day IT operations, manage IT projects and provide technical leadership to support the Group's ongoing growth and digital transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in retail, FMCG, chain store operations, supermarkets or multi-branch business environments.

Key Responsibilities
