Job summary

Segi Fresh is seeking an Enterprise Systems Lead to own and modernize our ERP, WMS and POS platforms, stabilising operations across stores and Distribution Centres.

You will work with business and technology teams to improve efficiency, deploy system cutovers, and lead hypercare activities during go-lives. 4–7 years in enterprise systems with retail/ FMCG exposure is preferred, with relocation planning to Wisma Segi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application management.
• Experience in grocery retail, FMCG, logistics, e-commerce or multi-site operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day availability, performance and reliability of core enterprise systems (SAP ERP, WMS, POS).
• Identify and resolve recurring system issues through root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
• Lead system cutover, deployment and post-go-live hypercare for stores and DCs.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential operational risks.
• Work with store and DC teams to improve system-supported workflows.
• Support improvements in warehouse picking, receiving, inventory management and store checkout processes.
• Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure data flow between POS, WMS and ERP.
• Provide hands-on support and guidance to users to improve system adoption.

Job description

We are looking for a driven and hands-on Enterprise Systems Lead to take ownership of the enterprise systems that power our daily retail operations. You will play a key role in stabilizing, improving and modernizing our ERP, WMS and POS platforms, while working closely with business and technology teams to improve operational efficiency across our stores and Distribution Centres.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the day-to-day availability, performance and reliability of core enterprise systems, including SAP ERP, WMS and POS.

Identify and resolve recurring system issues through effective root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.

Lead system cutover, deployment and post-go-live hypercare activities for stores and Distribution Centres.

Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential operational risks.

Work closely with store and Distribution Centre teams to understand operational challenges and improve system-supported workflows.

Support improvements in warehouse picking, receiving, inventory management and store checkout processes.

Collaborate with developers and integration teams to ensure effective data flow between POS, WMS and ERP.

Provide hands-on support and guidance to users to improve system adoption and user experience.

3. System Integration & Modernisation

Support the evaluation and implementation of new enterprise platforms and technology solutions.

Contribute to ERP modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.

Work with internal technology teams and external system integrators to deliver projects effectively.

Manage vendors and ensure agreed SLA, service quality, timelines and deliverables are achieved.

Ensure appropriate system access, user licensing and security controls are maintained.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

4–7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application management.

Experience in grocery retail, FMCG, logistics, e-commerce or multi-site operations is highly preferred.

Proven experience in system implementation, deployment, stabilisation or post-go-live hypercare.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP, WMS and POS systems.

Experience with SAP ERP is highly preferred.

Good understanding of retail and supply chain processes, including inventory, warehouse receiving/picking and store checkout operations.

Working knowledge of SQL, databases and system integration.

Familiarity with APIs, EDI and batch data integration.

Understanding of retail hardware such as HHT, barcode scanners and weighing scales is an advantage.

Experience with cloud platforms, ERP modernisation or technology transformation projects is an advantage.

Currently office based Kelana Business Centre, Petaling Jaya (near to Glenmarie LRT station)
